Things I learned at RAA 10.5

Nice write up Jim. Real sorry I missed it. Timing sucked for me.

And most important, sorry I missed Hanso.
Yes I would have like to but I really did need the last couple of days rest I have been having here at lupe's and soon I will be of to Lousiana for the last leg

She handles the corners, handeling the curves is Rainmans job

I rode behind rainman for a long time during the RAA and I can tell you this.... he can handle the curves with no problem. He goes into the curve real smooth, hits the apex real smooth, and exits real smooth. Whoosh.... he's gone!

Both are excellent riders as you are too Mully I would be happy ride the twisty stuff anytime with All that were there on the rides thru the Hills up there in Maggie Valley

Ok, i will leave it at that:D

@RKTNMYPKT
Jim,
I had two more days of cold and wet WITH thunder and lightning through central Oregon.
Twas able to find some gloves similar to your Utah specials that worked super. They shall stay with me in a pannier, ALWAYS!
The misery was the spice of the ride, Amigo!
I enjoyed riding with you and look forward to seeing you up here in August.

@RKTNMYPKT you promised you would keep that a secret! just got back home been gone since I got home the last time (does that make any sense)anybody gets near me give out a shout always willing for a good ride

I agree with you on the BIG THANKS TO THE BROTHERHOOD, Meeting you in person was one of the highlights of my trip and I might add there quite a few highlights but I was determined to see if you were every bit as funny and a stand up guy as you appeared to be ...... You did not let me down and it was worth every bit of the 1,000 mile each way.
Lupe and myself ended up covering 2,856 miles on the round trip back his house with all the little side excursions and the south rim of the Grand Canyon was spectacular shame about the north rim and the skywalk being closed but that will be a goal for you to take Adrianna there in the summer now that it will be open after the 15 th of May
I learnt a long time ago that regardless of time of year if you are going more than two hours from home CARRY WET WEATHER GEAR it's the best insurance and 9 out 10 times you won't need it.
Glad the little tips helped with cornering
Remember this Hans? what an adventure that was!!

First of all I need to say that
Hanso is a stand up guy and I'm really glad we were able to meet finally!

A big thanks to the Brotherhood for making This happen.

Here are a few observations.....

Hanso loves a little coffee with his milk!

Don't over pack! And when you send all that unneeded stuff home, don't send home your only warm sweatshirt!

Breeze is a funny guy!
Did you know the 1st time he had sex he was scared, and it was dark, and he was alone? :D

Just because it doesn't rain in CA doesn't mean it don't rain in Utah! Bring rain gear dumbass!!!

Speaking of rain, driving rain in 40 degree weather sucks! Period

Cow skulls make good riding partners, and even better bed partners.........

Don't forget to talk to the locals, I met 3 people on this trip I will never forget.
Jane at the Museum club in AZ. Being the most memorable, if your ever in there on the day shift look her up and tell her Fritz still wants to take her for that ride... ;)

Bull needs a new GPS!

They really do close the North rim of the Grand Canyon for the winter

I'll never ride 850 miles in one day again

The Triumph seat sucks, and the AirHawk doesn't help much

If your ever near freedom cycles in Las Vegas, Stop in! It's one of the few Flagship Triumph stores, and is worth a visit, say hi to Christine for me!

All it took was a 5 minute chat with Hanso, and I am better at cornering than I've ever been

I am still in awe that six people agreed to ride 100 miles out of their way In a crosswind
Just so I could stand on a corner in Winslow Arizona.

Well that's all I got, hopefully I'm still around next year, and we can do it again

Jim

What were Hanso’s 5 min tips?
