"The Official...Thread" appears to work. I ask all Rocket Captains to submit a image of themselves with their beast to the Photo Album if you haven't already, for the RAAIV rendezvous.

picture of me and my bike is currently un-obtainable. I have plenty of pics of her by herself though. Y'all won't have any problems recognizing me though. It seems like I'll be the youngest one there.

ya whipper snapper I'm working at building a DVD of RAAIV participants and other Captains of notable character(s). I'll capture a few images at the BBQ feast.

Hi Steve,

We have been remodeling rooms in the back and we will have one more room available there. It also has a kitchen and two double beds.
I would like to avoid for people to cancel at Travelowes if they’ve already made a reservation there. So if you have another party needing a room please have them call me.

Another thing is Ghost Town in the Sky will not open until May 15th. I know someone wanted to go there. There is possibly an event planned for the weekend you are here and includes a charity poker run and a visit to Ghost Town as a preview for opening. The poker run will be hosted by the entertainers from Ghost Town. There is nothing for sure yet. I will keep you updated when I know the details.

Room Update

Just keeping the room info current so people dont have to search through the post for current info.

There is one room open at the holiday 2 beds and kitchen if any one is interested contact Gabbi (828) 926-1186. There are several other options to accommodate as many as possible so keep booking for the event you don't want to miss the fun.

Option 1

Many ot the rooms booked have several beds explore sharing a room with others. Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist in coordinating. (Great way to save a couple of bucks)

Option 2

Our host has made Contact with the owners of the motel closest and they were happy to match the discounted price for the group.
They are located almost directly across the street. When calculated the prices after the discount here is what they will offer before taxes.

One bed $39.00/night
Two doubles $44.00/night
Two Queens $52.00/night

When you call mention the RAA IV group name.

Friday Cookout / Gathering --- Doniation accepted to cover cost but will be sponsered by myself and wife.

Daily Breakfast Buffet --- At the holiday Motel Cafe 7:00am - 8:30am 7.95 + tax (No pre-purchase Required)

Sunday Night BBQ / Farewell Party --- 15.00 per person (All you can eat) people not staying at the holiday may purchase tickets at the holiday office on friday and saturday.

xhdskip, Is it ok if I use your patch pic' for our host to post on their web site under area events. any one with suggestion on a brief paragraph describing the event please post I would like to get this to our host ASAP.
