Guess you liked what you saw in MV?

Take it easy until you forget your riding DS. Wet traction is where you will notice the difference more than anything else.

Indeed... find yourself in the right (or wrong) conditions and you'll see how much better it hydroplanes than a MT!;)

When you mind your speed and the road conditions, though, the CT can afford better traction in the wet.

8000 miles, Louisiana roads and rain and I have never hydroplaned.
Been on roads with cracks, groves and various surface patterns and never had a pucker moment. Overall I have never had a pucker factor with my CT other than the first 100 miles when I didn't have the air pressure right.
Compared to the Metz that was on it from the factory, my sack scrapes just before my pegs because of the darkside.

What sort of air pressure should you have in a CT used on a bike? I assume you want the tire to be a little soft.

It depends on the total weight on the bike. 1 or 2 up.
Start soft then work your way up by 2 psi at a time. When it feels like you have less control drop the psi down 1 psi at a time. Patients!!

Ambient temp and extra weight will change what you need.

was looking at mounting a car tire but the shop where i get my tires mounted did not want to do it. Its ok, this winter i am going to buy tire spoons, and balance stand, bead breaker etc. and start changing my own tires.
