The most complicated bike to service!!

What is it about Yamaha..the Vmax battery is buried deep in the bike, the FJR 1300 pre mid season 2013 the battery is a ***** to get to
What's wrong with lifting the seat for battery access or oil filters you can just get your hands on.
Hmm thinking about it the air filter in the Goldwing is a pig to get to

Well, i finally was able to ride the star for the first time ever, since i bought it with a broken hand, it reminds me of my harley, same power, or lack of, almost the same handling, and i can sit flat footed!!!

Had a 2001 Dodge Intrepid, had to take the front wheel off to get to the battery......

Same thing with my wifes old Sebring convertible. What a PIA.

She had an 05 Sebring and the battery was located inside the left front wheel well. You had to jack up and remove the tire, pull out maybe 8 push pins to remove the front of the inner well to access the battery. So, those auto part stores that advertised free battery replacement on MOST vehicles....well, this wasnt one of those vehicles. Replaced that convertible with a Mustang GT convertible....problem solved!!!
