The most complicated bike to service!!

The Yamaha vstar!!!!
This is what i had to do to change the oil and filter;
Take the mufflers out;
Take the front header off;
Take the side cover off, it has a stupid internal filter and it is impossible to remove any other way!!:mad::mad:

yikes. my uncle just bought a 650 version of that. Wonder if its the same deal.
Yes it is, if he has any questions give me a buzz, i just became an expert on the subject, it took me 3 hours with one hand, it will take him a good hour with both hands:)

Carn Mex be honest - It took 3hrs 'cos you were lifting those weights with your broke hand while changing the oil with the other...
 
Get the adaptor kit that allows you to do it without removing everything.
 
Lupe remember .. no whinging or crying poor anymore .. next maybe buy a bike shop , then get your mechanics to do the maintenance on your fleet ... hahaha.
Hell TC, i may learn enough to fix the neighborhood bikes for a small fee:D
