Yeah, but they went 2400 miles North last month with my 6th trailer load to my 250 acre bush block 50 miles South of Darwin NT.
I'll be back up there in January with my next trailer load if your still keen!

Still keen!! PM sent to you mate.

My travel disasters continue.

Yeah got to NT Weds 12 Feb after more disasters. Left Canberra Weds 5 Feb but Rear Wheel came off 10x6 dual trailer 1000km from Canberra after front braked wheel lost 2 nuts earlier and I took one off each rear to cover. ****ed all rims and a hub. $1700 and 4 days stuck in Waikerie SA.

I left Waikerie at 5PM Monday and Drove 3000km to Adelaide River at 70-80kmh with a couple of 1 hour rest stops, no sleep arriving 4.00pm Weds. Drove 25km west to my block with trailer and forded over Little Finniss River 3km from my block easily. But I got bogged at front gate when trailer kept going and jackknifed on mud jamming the A frame under my 2013 Ford Territory AWD diesel's rear bumper. Started pissing down so I got a spare battery from trailer for my old '92 GQ Patrol already there and got out over the River which was now over my Patrols 3" raised bonnet. The next few days getting in to finally extract my trailer and Territory Sunday which was now stuck there as the river was too high for it to cross back with 7 inches of rain in 5days. Went back to Adelaide River pub for a 6'th night and then Patrol wouldn't start so a $600 truck tow lift to Darwin auto electrician Tues. (luckily covered by my AANT premium travel cover. Diagnosed as coil and ignition module on Weds. I have heaps of brand new spares I carry - starter motor, water pump, distributor cap and rotor, every pipe, filter and fuel pump but no Ignition module. I even have a brand new complete head and gaskets at the block. Ignition module only available interstate nothing at wreckers locally and still waiting. Looks like I will be here until Monday. I even had a mate in Sydney to buy and send an Ignition module in case it got here earlier than workshops order.
So once I get the Patrol going again I will be back to block and get out in Ford Territory over the Little Finniss River to drive back to Canberra for another load.

Yep pretty sure they require longer than stock. The early R3 Classic versions are the longest Triumph cables but they may be tested with the Burleigh bars.
I have a showroom 2005, which I just picked up (might become a showpiece, it's literally showroom) and I have bought some touring cables with the intention of fitting a set of 14" apes maybe, and they are 4" longer, both throttle and clutch. Touring cables are the longest OEM.

A guy on eBay makes them and sells them for a ridiculously low price.
