Ive been thinking the same thing myself.All the stock bits and pieces,still shiny and new, are in a big box waiting for that day.
 

Yes ,this is one on my fears also.
 
I would estimate approximately $0. Normally/usually when they change laws like that, they apply to models built after the law changes.
