Spider Poop on Exhaust Headers

What methods are recommended to clean these black bits on the stainless without ruining the finish?
I remember some discussion about this a while back but can't seem to find it.

Those leave scratches even on stainless so that's a no no. Someone had mentioned oven cleaner in the past I think and I have one of those magic eraser pads somewhere.

Not leathers because I got them wearing only jeans! Heat them up with a torch....being careful to not affect the color of the SS headers.
Then wipe them off with a non-abrasive Mr. Clean thing.
Interesting that I have no idea how they got there but have never returned after a year!

Experience the same spiders. At first it bothered me and scrubbed them partly off at wash time. Over time, they’ve flaked away, new appear, then they too flake away. So now I just ignore them, but to wipe down with detailer occasionally.

Wonder if it’s burned fabric/threads from my jeans. In any event, they remove themselves.
