My hands have alway been My lively hood so always protect them even on my road or mtn bikes I stil wear them and I did say SUMMER Gloves..you know the one that have ventalation small holes all through them and I use them in winter when it drops to close 0
Thanks guys. Sounds like we have enough for a south coast nsw chapter!
My new bike is a 2004. It's immaculate, 30,000 km. it seems perfect and goes like a cut cat. But I didn't do much research before I bought it...reading the threads I'm starting to get worried the 2004 and early models had a lot of reliability issues? Does anybody have an early model Rocket that hasn't had problems?
I love mine I have been trying to lose a couple excess kg's lately and can now just get back into them, havent been able for the last 3 years but mine are the originals and have worn them quite a lot with no sign of them wearing out.... damm it cos I was going to get some of the Slicks that TC mentions when they do. If I had one complaint it would be cos they are a heavy grade of denim and the kevlar in side they take ages to dry out iuf you get caught in tioreental rain and you are trying to dry them out in a motel room with just a ceiling fan!!!!! overnight
Me and Catherine bought each other Draggin Jeans for xmas last year. I've gota pair of the new Slicks , everyone thinks they are leather. You stay dry in a light shower, they breathe when it's hot ... i love'em mate.
yeah I like the look of them but I have the old ones and my leather jean ( which I might say are soooo comfy) which since I have lost a couple of kg's are now to big .. Bugger just cant win so Ill get them taken in
Amanda has Slix - look sexy as. I wanted a pair too but they just don't fit me right. I have a pair of Hornee jeans - just cause they fit me better. Haven't tried them in summer yet but they're pretty good in cooler weather.
I can't say for the current jeans they make but when I bought mine at a ulysses agm 2004 they were different sizing to my normal jeans size I would recomend you go to a dealer near you to try them on
If you're down my way i'll take you in and introduce you to young Ben at TopGun. Does the best price on riding gear i've been able to find. Get all our riding gear off him.... carries good stock of Draggin. Hanso's right , i take a size smaller than i do in regular jeans. Best to try 'em on i reckon mate.
I bought Ricondi MC jeans
They too have the Kevlar and were $105 plus they hemmed the legs for me for free
Got em from Highside Leather Repairs in Acicia Ridge QLD (used to be in Salisbury QLD)
I got size 40 and that is my usual size for jeans. I am very happy with them, about third the price of Draggin jeans.

I don't the ones you are talking about but there are lot So called Kevlar jean that do not use the Militry grade Kevlar and are cheaper but as the saying go "you usally get what you Pay for"there have been comparison tests conducted showing the difference. as I said the denim in the dragon jeans is also extra heavy duty

x2 and they have a bit of stretch to them so super comfy....and should the need arise to do a ballet stretch and accidentally introduce your foot to somebody's mouth or throat, the stretch really makes it easy.
