Thanks guys. Sounds like we have enough for a south coast nsw chapter!

My new bike is a 2004. It's immaculate, 30,000 km. it seems perfect and goes like a cut cat. But I didn't do much research before I bought it...reading the threads I'm starting to get worried the 2004 and early models had a lot of reliability issues? Does anybody have an early model Rocket that hasn't had problems?

Skip after driving over half of our Island I have come to the conclusion if the temperature in under 16 Celsius it's frigging cold and only gets colder the lower it goes.

When it gets 28 Celsius is frigging hot and only gets worse the higher the temp goes. I feel for you in the heat and with the fires you guys have had in the state we know how bad that can be only to well.

I tell you what Mittzy, I was out around Biggenden, last week and it was just as cold coming home around 8pm that it down south, I assure you testicles were the size of tic tacs by the time I got home.

Mate of mine had an '05 model , put 85,000 klms on it. Rode the wheels off it and the only problem i can remember him having was a Throttle Position Sensor . Wouldn't worry about your new bike mate , not all of the earlier models are drama.

Me and Catherine bought each other Draggin Jeans for xmas last year. I've gota pair of the new Slicks , everyone thinks they are leather. You stay dry in a light shower, they breathe when it's hot ... i love'em mate.
