Somewhat new to the R3T Lifestyle..

Ive spent many years hiding behind an ancient windjammer 3 faring, so yeah, pretty spoiled..

Found the Clearview website, will use the measurement tools from the website to measure up a taller and wider windscreen, the prices are within reason, i'll be ORDERING a windscreen. Thanks for the suggestion!

Welcome Sparky! I ordered a Clearview a few months ago and really love it. I opted for the recurve at the top and it pushes the air up and over my helmet along with most of the bug population. I can run 75mph with my visor open with little or no buffeting. The only complaint is that the recurve gives me a little visual distortion at the top. I have gotten accustomed to it as I am only 5'10" and look thru the windscreen at the very top.

Sparky, My Clearview is two inches wider and 18" high with recurve and vent. No buffeting to speak of.

You may want to give a shout to @BigNorm
He has made some pretty good windscreen mods ! Welcome to the fun from Dartmoor England .

Below is the information on the Tourings. One can select the 4 inch wider option, which I will do. I got it wrong on the one I ordered for my 07 Classic, opting for the 25 inch. I'm 5'11" and it was about an inch too tall, splitting my vision unless I sat very upright. I got used to it though. I'll be doing some measurements for this one to ensure it is below my vision plane.

It really is different with the Touring because the tall Triumph screen I presently have measures 24 inches from the center bottom, which is actually the chrome mounting plate. I want to get it right this time.

I'm not sure if you want to travel my path. I make much of my own stuff because I lack the funds to buy store bought stuff. I used 1/4" Plexiglas and built my own shield. I was a little discouraged when I figured out my huge riot shield wouldn't fit in the oven, so I went and cranked up the gas bbq. I'm surprised it worked.

My Canadian friend used to do that quite successfully on his Harley (s). I tried to make a plexiglass window for one of our bird feeders and bunged it up so stay away.

Barndoor windshields tall and short create buffeting, and speed robbing, gas-guzzling resistance, and drag.

I cured both with the 'Sport-shield'
