Good article. I always wonder how travellers like this handle finances. Credit cards, carry various currencies, travellers Cheques, bullion....

That country is One of the most dangerous places in the world right now. And basically one giant graveyard

Wow, a terrific trip and story. It may be standard fare on other forums but it is still an epic adventure. Takes a lot of courage and commitment to sell everything you own and dive deep into our world like this.
