Be careful removing the intestines that are in there now. The MAP sensor and the air temp sensor are attached to the plenum. Other connectors can be disturbed.
It is a good time to dielectric grease all the accessible connectors and re-seat them. Use a ZipTie to secure the MAP sensor. Be prepared to have to retune the bike; TPS and stepper motor settings.

The RamAir makes a difference. Best when you try it without the claw on. That motor sucks air big.

Thanks. Im excited to do it. Im going to put it on today or tomorrow. Still need to get a new tune, so no huge rush. Just excited to see what the difference is.

Just curious--what made you pick Ramair over three K&Ns? I've got Ozclaw on the way and am trying to figure out whether to do Ram or K&N--have read all the entries on this issue, but still can't make up mind. Might have to use tax refund to try both!

I did the same thing as you. Debated forever on it. I think the fact that it came in a single kit with everything i need and instructions made me go with the ramair
