new cable showed up today... reinstalled drivers; plugged in cable; gets immediately recognized; hook up cable and power to bike; plug into pc; start tuneecu; connects right up; read current ecu for test, works fine; download new tune 20355Map-2.hex ; bike fires right up...

and then i open the garage up to go test out and it's raining...


definitely beware if cable hiccups - it's got logic in it and can fail...

Clearly a better outcome with the bike but you should really have got the Aussie cable. It has the no rain feature.

soo... the bike definitely feels punchier off the line... i am going to guess this is the tragic loss of the restriction in first gear... one thing that the tors changed, and maybe the tune enhanced, was what the exhaust smells like... you are instantly aware that there's no heavy metal hocus pocus between the exhaust port and the fat end of the tailpipe anymore...
