Snowy mountains ride
did not hear many complaints about my backyard up here around Ouray colo. this past year many roads they missed /moab Utah/grand canyon/etc,

Absolutely true, Pizza Man!
I spent another week after Montrose riding every pass and mountain I could find in CO.
Awesome stuff to be sure!
As far as challenging fun roads (without regard for scenery that you can't enjoy for the twisties anyway) I still like the Dragon, northwest AR
and the east/west side roads off of the Parkway in NC as in the top 10 I have ever ridden.
Can't say about the rest of the world.
 
@1olbull, Steve you will have to come over here some time it is only 3 hours from my place to the Snowy's and I guarantee you, you will be blown away. I have on my doorstep some great roads but they are only fair compared to the Snowy High Country roads in summer then you will need a rest on some nice country roads in Victoria followed by a boat ride to slip on over to Tassie and go down the West Coast it is Twisty Nirvana between Straun and Queenstown, the first time I rode that stretch of road I nearly got giddy from all the change of directions.
I should add there isn't a road in Tassie I don't love

Hey Hans, it was a spur of the moment thing with my brother in law on his Suzuki! Next time definitely I'll drag you guys along. In the meantime I'll post some more pics...if I can work out how to do it...
