Size comparison R3 V R3R
Wow looks like my dream of having one of these is not squashed, they look very similar to me, I’m gonna ride one when I can and I’ll post what a wide load on one looks like. Gotta say it’s a masterpiece of a bike, looking at it in pictures.

Yes, other than the tall tank on the original, they look fairly comparable. What sticks out to me is the size and position of the lower triple tree. It looks a lot bulkier/ beefier and is lower on the fork tubes than the previous R3. Might just be the angle, but the front tire looks wider too.
 
Agree with Tripps, front looks a lot beefier to me, a little out of proportion, if that is even possible on the Rocket?
 
Weirdly they look similar on the pics but in reality the R3R is physically smaller. I even heard o fella say "how do you get 2.5ltr in that little bike?"
