Sick Rocket

Hi guys, I've got a problem and was wondering what your thoughts are regarding it. 43k on clock.Starts ok, Idles OK around 850rpm when cold, runs ok when cold but after the engine gets to full operating temp the idle
starts to rise and won't drop down from around 1100 to 1500. Also the bike is missing badly at 2000 to 2500rpm on a steady throttle after it heats up and I think it's running way too rich, Pipes are sooty black.
At 3000 to 4500 on a steady throttle it seems to run well and no engine check light .Not had a chance to check any thing yet . I was thinkin it might be the Primary TPS on the way to the dump. I've owned rockets since 05 and never had any serious probs with them, just stupid things like detent spring and datatool alarm Phuqing up. I've got the cable and tune ECU and will hook it up at weekend. The bike is maintained and polished to within an inch of it's life by myself so this is a PITA. Cheers Al.

I suspect the Primary TPS. It would also be worth checking that the Crank Position Sensor is clean as well. If you have the original TPS from 2005 then you have done well.

All pointing to the TPS I still have the original on my 2005 Rocket and the new blue one on my 2011 rocket and no you can not get it
