Ride
2005 Rocket, Haze Grey,
Got back on the Rocket after a wait from the full knee replacement.
Rode for 180 miles to burn through a tank of fuel and get back to riding.

The TECH

Had the driving lights go out.
Found a shady spot and got into the kit.
Electric meter showed good from the lights to the battery.
on the road diagnostics gave me an idea to swap the heated grips relay and it works.
Called nearby Triumph dealer and they had one relay in stock for $25.
Found nearby NAPA auto parts dealer and discussed with a good guy that came up with

PART #
ECH AR294
NAPA replacement relay

Daytime running lamp relay
20amp

I think it should be as good.

Yep, it's the same one used for fuel pump, fan, and ECM. The starter relay is AR272. Just one more nice thing about the Rocket, fuel filters, relays, spark plugs, and starter motors all available at your neighborhood auto parts store.
I'm actually impressed your Triumph shop only wanted $25 for theirs.

Good catch, Philip!

It must be great to be back in the saddle again after all this time and trouble.
