Final observations and opinions...
The last item to do with this exhaust for me was to hear what it sounded like while someone else was riding the bike which I did today. I had a co-worker ride it up and down the street a couple of times so I could just listen. Up until now I had been worried it was too loud. I did not want to come across like a certain group of clones that we all know, whose exhausts are so loud and obnoxious it feels like a tack hammer hitting you repeatedly in the forehead as they drive by. What I discovered today was that the exhaust is not as loud as I thought it was and even though it is louder than normal the tone is pleasant in a beefy & mean way (think space shuttle instead of jack hammer). There are different options for R3 exhausts but for me I am happy with my choice. The only thing I need to do is find a good product to remove some of the gold discoloration that happened from heating it up so much on the Dyno last weekend. I don't have any bluing, but I do have some golding.
A copy of the dyno chart is included earlier in the thread but I will also include a text file of the results below.
Avus9, you are splitting the money saved with me, right?....lol.
