They weren't touching it ,the lightning used it as a conductor bring it in their direction. Could happen with guard rail i suppose.

Great to eat extremely lean low fat needs a good marinade of oil and cook lower heat after searing and eat rare. Makes great low fat bolognese, no orange fat especially if you use a good olive oil. Sold in most States now in regular supermarkets marketed by company called Macro Meats as Roos are marsupials of the Macropod genus.
 
yep as written above it bloody delicious if cooked right. Don't overcook or it's like chewing on yur boot sole.
