So after extensive research, I've determined that my Rocket has different moods. These moods don't appear to be affected by weather or temperature or time.... and maybe I'm imagining the whole thing. Regardless, here are her three distinct (to me) moods:

1. Normal: She rides exactly how we all expect a Rocket to ride. Awesome, of course.

2. Angry: She shifts harder, throttle control is slightly more jerky and her exhaust note is more.... harsh? This mood leaves me feeling slightly on edge the rest of the day.

3. Sexy: Everything is smoother than normal: throttle response, shifting is smooth as silk, her exhaust simply puuuuurrrrrrssss. I don't want to get off during this mood. And it leaves me with a bigger than normal smile.

I dunno... Maybe it's my imagination. Any of you guys experienced this?

Mines the same, generally a mix of ***** and sweetheart; it's the ratio that shifts. Small shifts can happen extremely quickly and have severe results though. The bike on the other hand pretty much has just one mood.

Mine also has moods. The one nasty mood she has is if I wake her too early in the morning. She is defiantly cranky in the morning.

A mood I have learned to endure and respect as she gives me slack when I push her hard, or god forbid don't shift smoothly.

I just had one of those sexy rides..... sooo good But when I get her out of the garage in the spring it's stiff and cranky but after a few wake up rides shes stretches out and back to sexy.

Mine has exactly the same thing. ...
Although I do think that my and the bikes moods are in sync.
I'm with Mittzy on this one except She has another Mood I call it the "Lill' Miss Naughty Mood" ... of course this has nothing to do with rider input
