I've heard nothing but good things about beaded seat covers. I was leaning towards a beaded cover AND a sheep skin one. Like a seating system...swapping between different combination when I wanted a change. Well, that was until Mitch chimed in with the AirHawk!

After an 800 mile weekend using the Airhawk that Mitchcpc sent me, I've gotta say that even if I had paid full price it would have been worth every penny. I can't imagine that a custom seat could offer anywhere near the same comfort. The Airhawk in combination with the BikersFriend is an incredible thing. All I need now is a bubbling footbath on each floorboard!

I am planning to buy the ROHO AIRHAWK seat. Which is best for Rocket Medium or Large? If does it depends on your butt size ;P ?

The large fits the seat perfectly. The size is also nice because its big enough to pull off and place in your cage for long roadtrips.

I bought a "Comfort Max Ortho-Deluxe" gel pad with a tailbone cutout. Took it on a 675 mile ride last Friday and Saturday and it is a 100% improvement over the Airhawk I had used previously. It doesn't eliminate the tailbone soreness, but it reduces it to the point that it is tolerable for extended periods. It does retain heat, and it raises you about 1" in the saddle, which might cause some buffetting. But overall, I rate it as a significant improvement. Purchased it from American Motorcycle Specialties USA, Inc. Not cheap - $140 with shipping, but worth it IMHO.
