I am poor..so I just took a sawzaw to my stock pipes, cut them off and gutted them.:D

Actually, I bought a set of stock pipes off of ebay when my 2005 rocket was new..I also bought a cat delete pipe, at 500 miles on new rocket I removed my pipes and cat and stored them away. I nstalled the ebay pipes and cat delete.
I wanted some more sound out of the pipes so I found a 1/2 inch drill bit apx. 14 inches long and started drilling holes into the rear of the exhaust pipes going as deep as it could go into the muffler. after 2 holes into all 3 mufflers. Rode it a few days and drilled a 3rd hole into all 3. At 1000 miles took it back to dealer for check up. while there they removed the secondary butterflys and set it with a 20055 tune. I loved the sound so I ran it likle that for yrs.
Well for the last year or so the left rear ehaust pipe was rusting out at the end of the muffler where the last baffle was welded in. I guess because the drill bit I was using was dull at the time of the last hole it got the chrome way to hot cutting into that last baffle, which caused it to rust out.

This spring I had a wild hair and took out the sawzaw and put a chop job to the Ol'girl. One baffle came competely out very easy..the second one was not so easy and the turd baffle was a complete Sunny Beach.

I love the was she sounds now...Plus I love the way the sucking back rumbles sound....Bumm.....ba....boom...baa....bummmsssss

I would be interested in hearing it. Can you do a recording ?

Gotta disagree with ya there Skip.

I just ordered a set of these for my Jardines:

http://www.bigcitythunder.com/order-now.html?page=shop.browse&category_id=7

We'll see what kind of difference they make.

you'll really like the QQ model baffles Harry (if that's the ones you ordered).
they seem to make her a little quieter, but give enough back pressure,
that you get back all the torque you might have lost with freer flowing pipes.
My 3 into 1 was obnoxiously loud without the baffle, but sounded real good with the QQ in it.
the ones in the photo above are still open.
she just sounds so darn good I hate to baffle it right now.;)
