Rocketing in the UAE

welcome from arizona
i would not rest my foot on that rear shifter it might take out the trans. i know what u r talking about i put a bracket and bolt to rest my foot on and on right let my heel hang off. now mostly just use floor boards now
i run the excedra max rear cobra front they seem ok with the 140 in front and max it lowers the bike a little so i have to be careful to have enough angle that it wont fall over. that said i thing i could use some front springs.

Progressive front springs made a world of difference on mine

+1 on the Progressive Springs in the front end, if you are having with cornering just remember to initiate the turn with a little countersteering ie if you are going into a left hand corner lean your left shoulder which will apply a little pressure on the left side of bars and cause the bike to fall into the corner more readily, same applies to right hand corners you just push right shoulder with same result, practice this on slower corners first then go a little faster before you know it you will be dropping into a lean without any real effort, cornering 1.01

greetings again to everyone. to update my "running in" status ... after months of riding, I still couldnt get used to the forward placed floor boards. Does anyone have any recommendation where I can look for used roadster pegs replacement?

Especially when i have the windshield off ... i have to hang on tight to the handlebars , the only way to stay planted when going fast and the peg positions doesnt help me to counterbalance forward.

Welcome Zeotz, Dubai is a long ways from Maine, great bike brings us closer together, enjoy the forum, good bunch here.
