Rocketing in the UAE

Thank you for the welcome. I shall update 2.mths down the road when i become accustomed to the forward floorboards. At the moment, after 30mins cruising i find myself resting the ball of my left feet hanging off the rear shifter and my right at the edge of floorboard. Old habits die hard!

Meantime I am also struggling to find a bike shop that stock bridgestone and avons so it might have to be shipped across the ocean.
 
Hello Zeotz and welcome from Virginia. Like the others, I say keep the floor boards for now, if you ever take long trips they are nice to have. You can always cut the heal shifter off, many have. On my R3T, it can be unbolted if I want.
I ride on the Bridgestone Exedra Max tires and get about 13,000 out of a set. They are great on wet roads which I know you have very few of, but their center strip is a very hard rubber and outlast the side areas which on long straight highways is a bonus. Good luck!

I found changing the shocks made a big difference in cornering. If your roads are smooth, try putting the shocks one position harder. You'll notice the improvement but too firm solo when you hit a bump.

I am trying to figure out how to adjust the shocks, as I see no reference marker , only the numbers but nowhere to align with. I guess clockwise for stiffer isnt it?
 
As you get stiffer the adjustment will get tighter, you'll know for sure you are going the right way!
