Just a quick question, I forgot to check when I was looking at them.
Is the 2010-11 Rocket 3 Touring seat 1 piece or 2 piece?
I am hoping to remove the pillion seat.

One piece, if you want the solo seat experience you'll have to order it from Triumph or Corbin or elsewhere.

Already checked , Corbin doesn't nor Mustang makes a seat for the 2011 bike. Mustang told me they don't make seats for any Triumph.

Does that mean that Corbin have ceased making seats for the Rocket Touring LCW, or is it simply that they have not yet had a pan from which to develop a 2011 seat ?

R3T seat

I checked with my dealer and he said that the '09, '010 and '011 show to be the same frame. Also I looked on Bike Bandit's website and they show the same frame # 's for the '09,010 and '011. So I guess I will contact Corbin again and see what they this time after I tell about what I found out.

And again Mustang and Saddlemen don't make any Triumph seats.

Anybody have any other information or where we can get a good seat other than Triumph.

There seem to be plenty here who customize the seats they've got... I'm sure someone will chime in. Dandiego has what he refers to as a couch on his... look through the photo albums, use the search engine for custom seats, etc. Good luck!

If I was going to get another seat, I'd get that daylong with the backrests.

I can't argue with that, Hellfire. The best investment (along with Progressive shocks) that I ever made was getting the Daylong. I've tried them all - Triumph touring and gel, a retrim, plus Mustang and Corbin on the Vulcan, and nothing comes close to the Daylong for me. Yep, some may consider them ugly, but the trade off is well worth it for me (and the Chosen One on the back).
