I know its been triked so the side stand may have been removed . Could it be to do with that , On the standard bike when side stand is down it wont start .

Yeah, side stand has been removed and I assume the 'trike conversion' took care of that in the wiring harness as bike ran ok before now ... we pull the clutch in too.

Side stand is not the problem
Ecu overrides The kick stand switch (with clutch lever pulled) in nuetral but not in gear.

Trike engine now runs. After lengthy searching and diagnostics, a motorcycle electrician located the problem as being the 'fall' switch. Changed it and engine fired up immediately. No error codes from the ECU, etc didn't help NEITHER did having a 'fall' detect switch on a TRIKE! ... Anyway, thanks for advice and helping with this, much appreciated!
