I have sold my Rocket and have a few items no longer required.

This seat has the numbers A 970 11 63 and A 970 11 64

Also has the steel fixing plate.

Looking for £70.00 ono

Will this seat fit a O5 Rocket classic ?
How much do you want for it and including shipping to Vermount?
I'm visiting August 13th to 20th
Thanks Kevin

I just noticed it has the plate underneath for the pillon seat that I have and its screwed in separate in the fender, how can this be screwed in when the seat is one piece ?
Was this seat for a o7 and converted?

The locator plate comes separately as part of the one piece seat kit. The plate bolts to the mudguard in the same place and to replace the two part seat's pillion seat bracket and has a locating spigot /spike that engages a hole in the pillion portion of the one piece seat. The spigot has a release catch operated by the black pull-ring visible top/middle of third photo. You can use these seats without the extra pillion locator plate as I do but I don't carry pillion and the rider's portion of the seat has another locator pin/spigot like the rider's two part seat does.

I have another version of this seat which fits the Classic and Roadster (and I think the early Std as well) and has a hole behind the rider's portion for a separate rider's back rest which is no longer available from Triumph, although the seats are currently available at dealers and discounted to AU$172 in Australia.

Yeah they fit Roadsters and were originally on the Classic model but many now have them on Standards and Roadsters as well.

They are discounted in UK Triumph dealers too I believe, as the Australian dealers source their stock from the UK as ordered.
This is the current dealer price in Australia, free shipping within Australia or maybe just NSW and ACT State borders.

Despite 'Touring' in item name they came out before the 2008 'Touring' model was released and WILL NOT fit the 2008 on 'Touring' model.

They look the same as the one in Post#1 but have the square hole with a flap behind rider to fit the now rare rider's backrest that are discontinued and virtually impossible to find as NOS anymore. Hence the seats being discounted from original $400+ price. They still work perfectly w/o the backrest and just a flap over the square hole. Some have made their own backrests to suit the hole.

The ones in Post#1 are still $438 here so his is a bargain!!!

Factory Dual Tour Seat

There are 2 numbers under the dual seat without backrest - A9701163 and A9701164. And on the one with backrest it's A9700186.
....

The ones I posted above with different part numbers are the same. Triumph has changed numbers of the the same parts that are interchangeable over the years possibly as the models they used them on changed and or new supply batches and pricing. I have seen this often with multiple part number listings for identical parts on the CalMoto Triumph Parts web listings.
