I have the aftermarket cat box replacement exhaust. I have the popping on decell. Was thinking of putting the stock cat box on. Will that help with popping? Also will it make it quieter? wanted to make it quieter. Will there be a power decrease? Will I have to detune it?. Any other advantages or disadvantages of putting the stock cat box on?

You have three choices..

1) Your dealer can install Triumph's tune for the cat bypass. Some dealers may load the tune at no charge, but regardless, it shouldn't cost much.

2) You can purchase a DynoJet PowerCommander PC-III and load the appropriate tune. Power Commander Downloads and Product Purchases, Maps, Installation Guides, Accessories

3) You can buy TuneBoy software and load the appropriate tune, along with getting
the ability to modify a host of other settings in your ECM. TuneBoy home page

4) You can put your catalytic converter back on and revert to be quiet as a mouse..

You have a freer flowing exhaust system with the cat bypass, and your bike is most likely running too lean. It needs more fuel.. :)

popping

Is there any way to decrease the popping? I have the aftermarket manifold. Will the 12 min tune work?
