Rivco risers, Cables too short.

I recently installed the Rivco risers on my 06 Classic and rerouted the brake line, the clutch cable and the throttle cables.
But the throttle cables will bind up against the tank when turned hard to the right. I can relieve some of this by rotating the lever assembly down but I find this to be uncomfortable.

Whats the rest of you guys doing about this? Do I just need to break down and purchase longer throttle cables?

Thanks

Big T

I run Rivco risers with Classic bars - you're right, it does rub against the tank on a full left lock, and on a full right lock I do not have any problems with binding, ever. I have not changed the position of the switch housing either

I have the same situation. In fact, the throttle cable tie actually marred my tank a bit. Thankfully I was able to rub it out. I did the same thing as Tazoom and now they will touch the tank a bit on a hard right but not enough to cause a problem.

I have Flips cable stayes but the one that got the tank was the one that came on the bike. It was really foolish of me not to see what was happening. It was a 1 second fix to move it up above the tank. Not one of my finer moments.
