Rivco Flange Covers

Dumb question but am new here. I assume you have to take the exhaust manifold bolts off to install these. Do you tempt a manifold leak breaking the gasket seal and what is the torque value for the bolts when re-tightening??

I did mine one at a time and it didn't seem to affect the gaskets. It took about 15 minutes.
