Your assistance is greatly appreciated! ;):D:thumbsup:
Croc meat has been on sale here for 40 years at least, started in Darwin NT and Qld but gradually became available at specialist butchers and even occasionally at mainstream restaurants throughout OZ now, I've even got it at my local markets here down South.
The movie Quigley Down Under was made here though in a joint US Aussie production so we scored off that one too. But I aint gonna say "Matthew Quigley" to you now or ever!* ;):D

Last para of Plot Quigley Down Under - Wikipedia
Once poor old @1olbull got the details below he swore off ever watching a Crocodile Dundee repeat again. Not sure of the logic but probably a deal killer for the endless repeats.
The real Croc Dundee Rod Ansell became an ice addict and led a 2 day manhunt near my bush block in the NT before ambushing and killing a policeman with his rifle and wounding another before being killed himself in the gunfight.
BIG READ: The violent end of the real Crocodile Dunde

Interesting story of a turd made famous by Hollywood.

Tastes more like Komodo Dragon.
Nah clean white meat in crocs that does look like chicken once boned out. The commercial meat comes from 2 year old 4-5 foot crocs grown on croc farms for their skins and skinned and dressed in certified and regulated abbatoirs attached to the croc farms.

They tried herding them to the local abbattoir once but roadside grazing of neighbourhood cats and dogs upset the locals. ;):p:D

Actually the one near Darwin on the main (and only) h'way South had to install a double series of chain mesh boundary wire fences as locals kept throwing 'stray' cats over the fence to feed the crocs for entertainment.;):D

Komodo Dragons being a monitor lizard related to our Goannas will have much oilier whiteish and dark meats from different body parts in my eating experience.
