Mind with relays , some have not only a resistor , but also a diode so if you put one without diode
you will empty your battery ! I think it is the case for the relay of fuel pump !
Try to dismantle the plastic housing off the base and see how is made the command circuit . If youy are skilled
enought you can de-soldering the dead diode or resistor and solder a new one ! Good luck !
