In case you missed this gem, @GreasyGeorge , a new forum member had his bike dyno tuned in Gardner, Mass, directly to the ECU. So now you have no excuse to trip out to the west coast for a tune
here what was said:
George, welcome from Maine. Where did you get your bike dyno'd? PCV or Tune ECU, I'm inline to dyno my rocket, lots of people in the northeast looking for a reputable dyno guy. I know of one in Windham Maine, he does PCV only.
Hoopla
hey hoopla I got my bike dyno tuned after I did the exhaust and k&n at Robs dyno in Gardner Ma. No aftermarket tuner. He does the adjustments to the factory ecm. Smart guy great shop.
I'm sure some of us will take advantage of this opprotunity.
In looking at his site, I'm pretty sure he does NOT/NOT use Tune ECU.
A call could confirm -- I'm pretty sure he uses either TuneBoy or some other program that does similar to Tune ECU but is integrally related to the DynoJet.
When I went their a few years ago I had to leave my bike for the week because he was working with CT state police where he had to extract data and run the bike in question on the dyno. He was also working on a Indian ecm before the new Indians were even available. Definitely a smart guy when It comes to tuning.
