Rear shocks stuck on spigots!?!

Dear Brains trust,

I have a touring model, I upgraded the shocks for Hagons which are working well, but I went to get them off the spigots to lube the splines in the shaft drive and couldnt get them off. Tried WD40 and hitting with a rubber mallet, couldnt budge them at all. The plastic/rubber bushings were a bit tight putting them on. I have tried getting them off both with bike on its own weight and with it lifted off ground

Anyone encountered this issue? Techniques to get em off that dont damage bike?

Try removing the bottom bolt ( 1 shock at a time) and swing the shock back and forth if possible. A pry bar behind the shock top, to lever as you rotate. Lots of lubricant. Good luck.

Tried lubricant and prying off... not much to pry against. Ive attached a pic for reference.

Also attached a second pic of an examp[le of a gear puller - wondering if something like that might work?

The only other thought i had was could i use a torch to burn the bushing out and then just make up new delrin bushes to refit?

Most Hagons I have worked with are tight to get off,I have a 1 metre length of 40 x30 mm jarrah and pry them off .No damage to parts that way.
