Happy to hear that you and the missus got off pretty lightly... you were very lucky.

Might I suggest Triumph's front dresser bars for the next time around?;)

Steve, sorry this happened...........and what timing, day before we hit Rolling Thunder.

I imagine the bruises are hurting a bit more now that the adreneline is wearing off.

Look forward to you getting that beautiful Classic back on the road so we can ride again! That is an interesting comment above about the drive shaft.....good one to make sure the Triumph dealer checks that one out....hadn't thought about that.

Any help you need, let me know!!!! If you get the itch, come ride mine and I'll try to keep up on my Royal Enfield.

Very sorry about the rear-ending. As has been said here's hoping the other party had good insurance. If you feel the need, I held an insurance adjuster's license for long enough to be pretty dangerous in that field. Get a checkup from the doctors. Sometimes things show up after the initial "shock" has worn off. A good chiropractor can do wonders. Best of luck.

Best of luck on the recovery for both you and yours......get to the doctor and get checked out.....this is exactly the type of thing that can ruin riding for you down the road!!!! Hope all works out well for you...keep us posted on the outcome ;)

I don't know what everyone else's experience has been (and I sincerely hope you don't have any experience at all) with Geico, but so far I'm not terribly impressed with their responsiveness. I have Progressive, the other guy has Geico. I know their busniess is to help as little as possible, but geez..they could return a phone call.
