Rear Ended

**** man. Glad you and your wife are alright. Bet the idiot was on the cell phone.
You may get a new Rocket but you know eventually you will have to get a back seat.

Glad to see that you're still with us.

Take it easy, but seek a medical review ASAP. I'm also a huge believer in chiropractic treatment, but it helps to have a medical doctor do a complete workup beforehand.

I am also a firm believer in chiropractors works wonders for me. I noticed that some others had the same question that I had, was a cell phone in use? Had a old boy here put up on top of the hood of a girls car and she never stopped talking on the cell phone he said he heard her say I hit somebody on a motorcycle.

Wow.. Glad to hear y'all are okay. That just stinks.

A buddy of mine was rear ended on his then 6 month old Triumph Trophy 1200 a few years back. Luckily, he saw the truck speeding toward him in his mirror. He was able to jump from the bike just in time to see it sent sailing across the intersection, then end over end into a ditch. I have the last remaining piece of that Trophy, a right turn signal, on my Trophy.. .lol

Sorry to hear about the accident but glad that the injuries are not worse than they are. Hopefully you'll heal quickly and I can believe no one wants to find out how much a Rocket really weighs. I hope you get back up quickly and are riding in no time with maybe...even...a new Rocket.

Glad to hear you guys are in relatively good shape, and hope the Rocket will be back up and running when you are ready to ride.
I was rear ended about 15 years ago at a red light by a van. Was riding an '83 Yamaha Maxim, heard the tires squeal behind me, glanced in my mirror, saw a huge chrome grill coming towards me and braced myself. Wasn't thrown from the bike, but smashed my knees pretty good on the tank. My rear fender wound up implanted in the van's radiator, and when I got off the bike I didn't even need to use the kickstand. The front bumper rode up and compressed the rear tire--I was lucky that time.
I'm sure with all the extra distractions people have while they're driving now, cell phones and all, this type of accident happens more often.
Enjoy the baseball--it's very healing.
