Coming home from work today and noticed when I let off the throttle with the clutch pulled in my bike slowed down normally it speeds up lol.
I stopped at a light shut the bike off and there was an explosion back end I walked around to see my rear brake line melted off and on fire. Anybody?? Lol.
What is the part number for the rear brake line I can't find it in the service manual? Thanks.

A friend cooked his rear slave cylinder, found out he was inadvertently resting his foot on the pedal, not putting much pressure on to notice but enough to create heat, the brake slowly locked up, then released when it cooled down, didn't blow the hose though. Was the entire cylinder hot? His was too hot to touch, he rebuilt the cyclinder after that though as was concerned over the piston seals.

Maybe replace the whole line with an aftermarket HEL line? probably cheaper and better quality than an OEM. I had my lines made at a local (at the time) car speed shop.

Just an update I bought the new brake line and like everything on this bike it needs a complete tear down to replace anything!!@#%@. One little screw that's impossible to get to without removing the whole backend of the bike. Put it all back together minus the rear brakes. I just won't do any slow speed maneuvers this riding season:) if any owners have replaced rear brake line #17 in the manual 2014 roadster throw in your 2 cents please.
