I remember when I turned 18, my mom & dad had just gotten divorced. My dad decided it was time for some male bonding, so we went drinking on Burbon St. He met a nice looking woman who was a couple of years younger than him, and I had picked up a 20 year old college girl who was there for the weekend. Dad decided we needed different rooms since it looked like he was probably going to get lucky. I told him to remember his age, and not to over do it. He said we'll see, keep track of how many times I did it, and he guaranteed he'd beat me. Ok, game on!
He went back to his room and got a quickie, then put a mark on the wall right above the bed. They got room service, ate, and watched tv for a while. Once his battery was recharged, they went at it again, then took a shower, and went to sleep. He woke up early and knocked off another piece, and put his mark with the other two. I got up early, and got us some coffee, and went knocked on his door. I asked how was his night, and he pointed at the 3 marks on his wall, and asked what I thought. I said dang 111, you beat me by 6.
Just read a medical report that concluded people who drink alcohol and coffee and are overweight in their 70s tend to live longer. The researchers are puzzled by the outcome of the study.
I’m 62. Guess I have another 50 years to go based on that assumption. But that being said, when we saw Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Rockers a few years ago he was moving pretty stiff on stage during a performance of Devil in a Blue Dress. A lady in the audience shouted to move his hips like he used to. He stopped, looked at her and said, ma’am I have two titanium hips. Those days are over. With two titanium knees I fully understand.
Me and you both. Heard that the New plastic or what ever they are made of work better over time. Don't really know that is just what the V.A. told me. Indians said the same. Kind of like buying parts for a bike. You don't really know which system is better or worse until you try it out.
