RDU isn't a ride Dave. It's a gathering, although I dare say those of us traveling there are likely to want to meet up at some point and hit the place as a pack. That was the absolute best part of Hervey Bay. That, and meeting everyone. If certain folk are going to be coming across from the west then we may see plenty of us detour to meet them part way. Reckon you could twist Ponters' arm and go test out some roads and pubs without necessarily linking it to RDU. Bloody good idea if you ask me.
 

Even if it's not, could be fun "planning" it.
 

That would be a birthday ride for me , if your down this way we should catch up anyway sounds good.

Sounds good overnighter can't do anymore than that that time of year , but would be fun for sure
