Never owned wet weather gear.... Just got ***n soaked when it rained, but not ridden in cold and wet since my youth.

I carry a spare one these days, don't know why cos my levers would be too short to hit the ground if it threw its self to the ground again.

Anthony, if your grandmother looked anything like you with a beard then your grandfather was either blind or has the heart (and constitution) of a lion. Explains a lot actually.
