You should be able to handle the car tire since you're a big fellow. If you wasn't I would recommend start doing push ups. lol

I wouldn't use anything but a mag wheel changer to install tire. Trust me on this one.

I used Dynabeads in my front tire and have a bad vibration at 125 mph. The next time I will go back to standard wheel weights. There isn't but two options here so its dynabeads or wheel weights sooooo.

I run 31 to 32 psi in the raptor same tire as you're getting. I'm 250 dressed and I ride 2 up 40% of the time all of my co-riders are over 200lbs plus bags for trips.

The way i figure it the back tire on my bike carries about the same weight as a car would . Most of the weight is on the back tire, and the faster you go more weight is transferred to the rear tire. A passenger sits directly over the rear wheel so almost all of that weight is on the rear wheel.

Now about the greasing of the axle.

I think what you are really needing to service the the splines.

Go to your local Honda dealer and buy moly 60 paste ,clean and lub the spines where they engage the final drive. There is no service interval for this but I would recommend about every 10,000 miles.

Triumph never considered a tire lasting for 30,000 miles so they just recommend greasing at tire changes.

brently, I'm an A&P I worked in GA for 2 years before the airline . Now I'm in QA.

Actually there are 4 options. I used a product on my 1st Riken Raptor that balanced and sealed punctures up to 1/4in. Kind of like slime stop leak. Dynabeads, wheel weights, or nothing at all. This last Riken was installed and have had no vibration at all with no balancing. So check to see if you need it 1st before you go gooping, vibrating, or gluing.

well its done, iam riding darkside, rode 30 miles or so yesterday still dicking around with air pressure, at 31 32 was a bit higher then dropped it feels better.its all true the traction is amazing it fells just all around better. the counter steer isnt to bad still getting use to it. it amost feels predictable once you get by the slight force or counter steer it almost feels like it turns quicker or it is more responsive. breaks better also. still runing the stock metz up front ive read thats no good for darkside the dyno beads confuse the hell out of me dropped them in after we spun it twice it was out by 65 he said. spun again and still said 60 but he told me to try it because he had used before and that tire never read right after beads were put in that time either. seems ok mirrors pick up slight vibration after 85-90 but they did before i put on tire so well ride on
