have had some problem with the fog lights in the past that i posted about
well they went out again a few weeks ago and i could not get them working again toke it to the dealer last saterday to let them look at it they had to replace the plugs on the wiring harness i have been running h-3 55 watt bulbs in them they told me that is what burnt the plugs soppuse to have h-3 35 watt so that is what i went back to hope this will help any one else that is running a higher watt bulb in thiers before they have the same problem

I've been running 55w bulbs for well over two years around 15k miles, on all the time. No problems so far. I've had the bulbs out at least once to check and everything looked fine. Guess its time to check them again.

i had mine in for a little over 2 years it is the plug that hooks into the main wiring harness under the tank if i would have tought i should have kept it a posted the pix of it but as they say hindsight is 20-20

I have had to replace both bulbs but no other issues. MY turn signal is another story. The black ABS plastic that surrounds the bulb looks like it has melted, I have it rigged right now and it is working but I know I will be buying a new signal soon.

That's likely what did mine in, too. First one side went (wasn't the bulb) then the other.

Been too busy to get in there and see what's going on, but I'd bet that it's the same issue your dealer found.

a little over $200 for labor he had extra plugs so wasnt charged for no parts bought the h3 35 watt bulbs off amazon for 2.99 a piece where the dealer wanted 15
