Installed a audiovox ccs-100 on my o5 r3 about four years ago. Worked great until this year. Can't get it to work. I have a green light on the on/off switch and a red light in the unit. Checked vacuum semms ok. Anyone else run into this???? Helboy

Does the Cruise Control do ANYTHING at all?
I would suggest you take the back cover off the unit to check for water ingress.
Those earlier units also suffered Broken Cables at the actuator end. Pretty simple to fix - just buy a bicycle brake cable (inner) and replace with that.
Sometimes if they start hunting or not keeping speed you will find the diaphragm has a hole in it or has built up too much carbon (yes carbon can find its way all the way down there).

Pull the cable from the throttle end. if you can pull more cable out , I would say your cable is broken.

Ccs-100 vacuum operated cruise
This audiovox worked great for years! Checked vacuum by adding another temp vacuum tank. Vacuum not the problem. Green light on the dash switch comes on and the red light in the servo unit comes on. Road tested tonight, still doesn't work but i noticed that when i turn on the dash switch and see the green light the unit turns itself off when i touch front or rear brake. This shouldn't happen, the on light should remain on even if you have hit the brake or clutch ( it won't continue to hold speed, but it should not turn off completely). The problem must be with the stop light ???? Any idea??? Helboy needs cruise for the road trips........
