R3 Clear indicators

Thanks. Couple of pics up now but will do better.

Standard 05 with 2500k, Tor's and no cat with KN. I got rid of the horn cover and like the look better as you see the triple clamp. Want to get rid of the engine bars and fit clear indicators. Love the bike. Want to stop the decel popping though if poss. Supposedly had the TOR tune but its not quite right.

Cheers

Baz

Welcome to the site. That makes two of us who have done away with the horn cover...way to go.

Clear Indicators

No luck with the M109 indicators but thanks. Hard to believe no one makes them. Unscrew the orange lenses and see the difference it makes!

Will keep looking.

I could not find any clear lences, so I had to make them my self. They are casted from epoxi, pollished and then coated with PMMA. The mould can only do 10 - 20 pcs before it has to be replaced and it cost fortune in silicon to make and that is a huge part of the price.

The epoxi is an extra UV stabile grade and the PMMA coating give an extra UV protecion. Still I do not know how long they will last in a varmer climat. The Swedish sun is too weak for a test. The only guarrantee I can give is that I will replace them if you are not happy with the performance.

I sell them for EUR 20 /pcs, (EUR 76 /set) free shipping or USD 29/pcs, (USD 110/set). This is a pure hobby and I do not make them to get rich and you only pay after you have approved them.

It takes 48 hour to make one, so expect a delivery time of a few weeks.

Does anyone make some nice, red LEDs to put behind those purty lenses? Using such would require a load equalizer, right?

Just about anything you change makes the blinkers freak out, I just changed the size of the rear bulbs and it started blinking fast. It's probably safe to say that any tinkering with the turn signals will require an equalizer to slow the roll.

Hi...I'm interested in a set of these lenses friend, could you get in touch via pm or email please.
