progressive front springs - worth doing?

OK then, as I see it we are happy with the Hagon Nitro's on the rear but are we uncertain about the progressive springs up front or just can't decide what weight oil to use for damping. The front fork oil is to be changed on some service in future so I was thinking of having springs changed at the same time & maybe going for thicker oil, - is that about right ?
 
CJ,Check your oe springs first, ( as posted above).Also how old are they? no bad plan to change old tired ones, new progressive fork springs arn't gonna break the bank....
 

Depends how you ride. Despite me telling Hagon several times that I am average weight, always ride solo and am steady away, they still sent me rear shocks set up the same as for everyone else. My fault with the front progressives - I should have talked to them about oil weight. I am no engineer but my gut feel is that if they'd supplied me with their 30kg springs in the rears (rather than the 35kg) and I had asked for 5w oil, it would have been perfect for me. As it is, it's probably perfect for a person who rides with a pillion and likes to hammer it.

send me yours brother, solo rider but no lightweight,& like a bit of fun now & then. So when I order I'll just tell Hagon that I want em just like Mikes.

Will check them out Bones, no great rush yet, bike is 13months old done 10,000 miles + but most of it perhaps a bit heavy, think I'll calm down a bit tomorrow It's my 61st birthday, strait up it really is, do you think I'll get a set of shocks & front springs in the post - I know I should have let you guys know earlier, oh well maybe next year.
 

I put 20 weight oil in mine when the new Progressive fork springs went in. I had a few arguements with the shop about the oil weight but all is well after a month or so
