Yesterday I met a man who has a chipped motorcycle. He said that he had it done after about a year and a half, now he has it for 4 years and 70,000 km. He can really rub the rubber when starting off, that it is also a completely different life and that it is a completely different fun. However, at 60,000 km he had to do repair, because something was cracked in timing, I understood it was the chain tensioner. And that the timing chain was pulled out about 1.5-2 cm compared to the new one. It cost him 2,000 euros.
I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I said to myself that I won't chip it. It's not worth it to me.

No. Unless you put in another camshaft, tuning does not cause any trouble to the tensioner.

more details are required else we are just speculating but based on your statements, its obvious, he rides hard, and you dont even know how many services he did on time, looks like if he hadn't missed 30K timing chain inspection adjustment, this would have not happened or avoided.

anyways

If it was an automatic adjuster then it would take care of it self for a long time.
If it was manually adjusted then maybe broke after it was adjusted
