preds on a Graphite

the sound

bkrbil,
yes, if you take everythiing out and run them 'straight through', you will wake up the dead.but, surprisingly, they have a very deep loud to them. not a tinny clang bang like the jars. nor a sharp gunfire note like an open v-twin exhaust. it's a very addictive sound, so don't do it! you'll destroy your tympanic nerves:D. run em like reg says and you'll be happy.:). sam did a lot of work to get the ideal ratio setup in his base tune. it's a good starting point. as you ride more and the ecu adapts, you'll see where you might want to tone things down as reg has done. at any rate you'll pretty much want to stay with what sam spent a lot time doing as far as tunes go. hope this helps.:)

Soon, your bags will be angular and not limp..............Interestingly, all the bags get wrinkly in the same area.........Some brake line clamps and handlebar clamps would be nice too.

I'll bet that exhaust is loud too. It looks nice. Way better than the exhaust 'log'.

stuff

flip,
thanks for the update, been wanting to ask if there would be any problem opening the handle bar clamp to accommodate 1-1/4 " t-bars? will order brake line clamps & saddle bag kit prior to new ulm gathering:D......... thanks:)

as far as sound ... the only bike i db'd them against was jars. hard to say how many db's louder than the jars cuz meter only went to 125 and jars took it off the scale.
imo they are about as loud as the d&d's. at least when we dyno'd curts and i rode with curt they seemed about the same. i know it's not real scientfic but that would be some sort of a comparison.
perhaps better is chad doesnt wear ear plugs now as he did with jars.

Cooool

I like em. Reminds me of the overly expensive Jet Hot Coated Hooker Headers with Borla mufflers I put on the Super Gas Car....loved the sound and they looked real nice too. I wouldn't care about performance if they look this good....:D...SB.

Way too cool! I really like the horizontal flow. The aux. lights on the radiator are what?
That's a '05 with a Silver gray engine isn't it?
I see you've ridden the dragon on the Rocket. What is your impression? I've never ridden it myself.

After some thought, yes Flip, I do think Triumph could have mass produced atleast the header portion running to the cat box like this, rather than the row of men's restroom plumbing :) Look at the header systems on the sport bikes. The Tiger, the Sprint, the Speed Triple. They didn't come with "logs", they came with a tuned header system made out of ? stainless steel.. :) If they wanted, they could have even put the exhaust covers, or guards on these.. still had the cat box underneath and the same mufflers..

Oh well.. I'm *****ing and I'm still running the log too.. lol
