Plugs maybe?

I'm starting to get a "cutting out" feeling from the bike around 2200 rpms....almost like a "running out of fuel" feel. When I accelerate from there it's fine. Lower rpm is fine.

I have about 20,000 on it now and I'm wondering if it might be the plugs.

anyone experience this yet?

Check the internal fuel line into the tank is secure and not coming off - if it's only at 2200rpm this is probably not the problem. I seem to recall it happening randomly around the lower rpms and over 2200 or so it was fine. For me, the fuel was sort of recycling at the lower rpms - kinda scary and was new to the r3 at the time. Never had a problem with that since it was fixed

PM Perderabo, he had coil probs a couple of months ago, cant remember what his symptoms were but worth a go.
It does sound electrical but i doubt its the plugs and the coils ere next link in the chain.
Have a look under the tank when it misfires and see if anything is arcing...
Obviously not when you are riding it

Possibly screwy/corrupt ECU tune or MAP sensor. If you have tuneboy, I'd try to reload your tune or go the the dealer and have them reload first then look at the other components.

Probably not loose connections or bad coils if it is consistently stalling at the same rev point.

I don't feel confident in going to any dealer for a tune download. I already have the PCIII w/ Jars and I don't want to ruin that tune. Not sure what to do. Guess I need to switch to Tuneboy.

Just have the dealer read which tune is already on the bike and have them reload the exact same one. Don't give in to recommendations of loading them newer tunes for idle fixes either. Those might not match the tune you have. And since you mentioned PCIII, it is possible that thing or the tune loaded into it is bad/corrupt. Try reloading the PCIII's tune and see if that helps.
