Petition to get michelin making rocket tires

Hi fellow Rocket lovers this is a petition for those of us that are sick of the limited choice of motorcycle tires for the rocket to try to get Michelin who also own some of the other tire companys to develop a tire for our great beast.
Also here is a link for us to repeatedly let them know we are here and we want a desent tire for our mighty bike

Why?
why would you want a Car tire manufacturer to make a tire for the rocket?
There's already tires for it.
I've got over 20,000 miles on my tire and still have half the tread left...
it was kinda pricy tho, paid $100.00 for it.
And true, it's "not perfect" but the traction on wet surfaces is phenomenal.
The ride is excellent, as is the handling.....
Just get a tire already made to fit the Rocket,
besides, IF Michelin started making tires for the Rocket
then the price could go up...
I might have to pay $110.00 next time,
another 20,000 miles from now.......

Um, Michelin is one of the larger motorcycle tire manufacturers in the world. Their Pilot Road series are very highly regarded.

And while were at it, how about one with the harder compound in the center for longer wear, and the softer stuff on the edge for "carving" ?

Fred, that's what the Pilot Road 2 is, dual compound.
Excellent tire. I would go back from a DS if they made a set for the Rocket.
Not sure how much more mileage the rear would get,
but the Pilot road 2 handling has to be experienced to be believed, it's that good.

Dont Michelin own Pirelli(or is it the other way round) who already make a tyre in an R3 size??
